Clean fruit flavours run along through the palate with support from a crisp acid base. Perfect fruit condition, 100% barrel fermentation (33% new) and diligent maturation are the keys to this wine style. Oak subtlety is achieved through the use of high quality French barriques from trusted Burgundian coopers, combined with regular lees stirring (batonnage) and malo-lactic fermentation (MLF).

The palate has seamless structure with silky fine tannins, fine grained oak and lavishly textured fruit. It’s a complete wine with a strong future. Cellar 6 years.

We fully understand that twenty six dollars is not cheap for a bottle of wine. But when you taste a wine like this—OK, after a couple of glasses maybe—the beuty and enjoyment of it quickly outshines whateve you paid for it. It tastes so enticingly of blackcurrant, lead pencil, earth, chocolate and a touch of mont. It has smooth, gently tannic palate that fans out and fills your mouth. And it has an earthy, dry finish. Gulp. It’s beautiful. Drink 2010—2015.
